Meet Giorgos Spiridakis.

Giorgos started bird watching at the age of 15 when he was in Cyprus. At the age 17 he got his first DSLR camera. He finished his bachelor degree as a forester – environmentalist at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, at the department of Forestry and Natural Environment Management.

Then, he worked in several wildlife projects and surveys (mostly monitoring) in several national parks and protected areas of Greece and Cyprus.

He has been working as a birdwatching – wildlife guide and photographer since 2013 in Greece and Cyprus, leading many groups and individuals throughout the years.

Now, he had decided to take partly his own path by guiding more independently and offering also different type of wildlife tours to smaller groups and individuals, who are looking for a different, more unique experience.

With his experience and passion for wildlife, he aims to show the natural world from a different perspective and transfer his knowledge to people who also want to know how nature behaves, explain the human – wildlife conflict through the eyes of a person deeply involved into nature but also living for years in the countryside.
